Internships

The Handmade intern programme is aimed primarily at graduates. Internships are provided on a fixed term, 3, 6 or 12 month basis. During each internship Handmade aims to provide structured experience which will include elements of creativity, planning and organization, and research, the fundamental skill-sets that underpin success in public relations.

Work Experience

1 month work experience opportunities are also regularly available at Handmade. We aim to provide as many as 6 of these openings each year and are open to applications from a wide range of backgrounds. Meaningful work will be allocated to fit both the skill-sets of successful applicants and the priority needs of the business at the time.

Both these positions are typically unpaid although an allowance to cover travel costs is available.

What are we looking for?

Handmade are looking for energetic, committed and intellectually able people to take up these opportunities. Applicants for internships will typically be graduates. Subject is less important than outlook and underlying abilities. Intern candidates need to be fluent communicators, capable of adopting a strategic view and be personally well organized. All applicants to Handmade need to demonstrate their keenness to learn and develop through collaboration with other Handmade employees.
